Northern Wisconsin Weed Harvesting

Our clients lake located in north central Wisconsin and is approximately 1,135 acres in size. The District purchased their fleet of new aquatic weed harvesting equipment in 2002 with financial assistance from a cost share grant awarded to them by the State of Wisconsin. The District put the equipment straight to work upon delivery and they continue to operate it on an average of 35-40 hours per week during the summer months.
