Grid Network to End Water Scarcity
Residents in Diamond City won't face problem of water scarcity for years to come. Thanks to Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) for setting up a water supply gird network to tide over the problem of scarcity, equitable distribution of water and maintaining raw water quality in Tapi river.

Like in the electricity supply, the hydraulic department has set up a grid system in its existing water supply network in the city. In case of failure of one grid, water can be supplied from the other grid through the network. This way, there will be continuity in the water supply system in the city.

According to Hawkins, water quality in most of the Iowa Great Lakes is the best it has been in the past couple of decades, based on monitoring. The weed can be mechanically removed, along with other vegetation from around docks and boat hoists.
