Ambassador Johnnie Carson takes the Swamp Devil for a Test Drive
RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE II

The Venue: Lake Victoria, Kenya

The Opponents: Swamp Devil, aquatic weed cutter vs. Water Hyacinth

In 1999, Aquarius Systems sent some equipment over to Kenya to perform a water hyacinth chopping and weed harvesting demonstration. Shortly after the special fleet of equipment arrived on Lake Victoria, U.S. Ambassador Johnnie Carson joined the Aquarius crew to check out the new machines and learn about the water hyacinth eradication project.

Invasive Hydrilla Plant discovered in New York - Hydrilla is a highly invasive aquatic plant that can grow up to an inch per day, creating a thick mat of vegetation when it reaches the water's surface. Hydrilla quickly shades out other aquatic plants, displacing native species, as well as clogging waterways and interfering with boating, fishing and swimming.
