Study shows blue-green algae in area lakes has a strong impact on the local economy.

Many local citizens have questioned the possible detrimental effects the "green" in our lakes causes to home values and business growth in the community. In 2010, the Tainter Menomin Lakes Improvement Association, Inc, led by Robyn Morin, past president and project coordinator, embarked on a commitment to try to provide some answers to business and property owners.
