Drought Could Leave Fire Department without Water
Pauls Valley may be forced to implement mandatory water restriction by spring if conditions don’t improve. Extreme drought has left both Longmire Lake and Old City Lake where water levels have dropped between 10 and 14 feet below normal.

Low water levels pose quite a concern to the community of Pauls Valley. Not only are boat ramps and docks closed, but it poses a lack of an emergency source of water for the fire department. Adding to the problem are waterline breaks caused by the dry conditions and colder weather.
