Invasive Species: Do We Worry Too Much?
Do you think we spend too many resources trying to get rid of invasive species? If you look at the world today, we have messed it up. It is inevitable; we displace animals because we need to places to live and to grow food. If an alien species is doing well, we tend to blame that species rather than determining why it is so successful to begin with. We are less tolerant of alien species, including each other.

Before we do anything; work out the economics. What is it really going to cost and is it worth it. Or are we better off living with them. We can easily spend a lot of time and money and achieve no results.

Lake Hayward Will Use Chemicals to Treat Hybrid Watermilfoil - Sawyer County and a group of Lake Hayward shoreland owners are teaming up to chemically kill 23 acres of an invasive weed species known as hybrid water milfoil, which has been expanding in size in the lake in the past few years and is threatening to choke off the lake’s native plants.
