Proposed Aquatic Invasive Species Program Creates Waves
- The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) is considering a plan to require anyone wanting to put a watercraft, dock, boat ramp, or other equipment in a body of water within the district must demonstrate that it is free of AIS. In order to do that, a proposition has been made to require people to pay to have their equipment inspected and decontaminated if needed.
