Zebra Mussels Spread Rapidly in Lake Minnetonka
- A study has found that zebra mussels are rapidly spreading throughout Lake Minnetonka, one of the most popular lakes in the Twin Cities area. The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District said Wednesday it found zebra mussels – a particularly destructive non-native mollusk – present at most testing sites across the lake.
