Local Boy Scouts Help Wayne County SWCD Control Aquatic Invasive Plants - Wayne County Soil & Water Conservation District hasd a mechanical aquatic plant harvester on site that the scouts filled twice with water chestnuts; hand pulled from the lake. Each load of wet plant material on the harvester is estimated to weigh 2 tons.
